Privacy Policy

How this site handles your information, explained in plain English. The short version: this is a simple static website with no accounts, no forms and no analytics, and the only personal data we ever hold is an email you choose to send us.

We are reader-supported. If you buy through links on this page we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. How this works. Nothing here is medical advice.

This privacy policy explains what information passes through bestgroundingsheets.co.uk, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it under UK data protection law. It is effective from 17 July 2026 and applies to every page on this site.

The Short Version

Who Runs This Site

Best Grounding Sheets UK is an independent, reader-supported review site written and run by the Best Grounding Sheets UK editorial team. We earn commission through affiliate links, which is explained in full in our affiliate disclosure. For anything relating to this policy or your data, email [email protected].

Emails You Choose to Send Us

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, anything you write in your message, and your name if you sign with one. We use that information for one purpose only: to read your message and reply to it. We do not add you to a mailing list (we do not run one), we do not share or sell your details, and we delete correspondence once it is no longer needed to deal with your query.

Server Logs

Like almost every website, the server that hosts this site records standard access logs. These include the IP address of each request, the browser user agent, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use these logs for security monitoring and technical troubleshooting only, for example to investigate errors or abusive traffic. Log data is not combined with any other information to identify individual visitors, and it is kept only as long as those purposes require.

Cookies and Analytics

We do not set any cookies of our own and we do not run any analytics on this site at present. There are no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts and no social media embeds. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and add a clear consent banner before any cookie or analytics tool goes live, so nothing will be placed on your device without you being told.

Affiliate Links and Other Third Parties

Retailer websites. Our product links go out to retailer sites such as Groundology, Sleep Earthed, Rowland Earthing and Get Grounded. Once you click through, you are on their website and their privacy policy applies, not ours. The affiliate programmes those retailers run may set cookies on their own sites so that a purchase can be attributed to a link from us. Those cookies belong to the retailer or its affiliate network, live on their domain, and are governed by their policies. We do not receive your name, address or payment details from any retailer. How the commercial side works is set out in our affiliate disclosure.

Fonts and icons. This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts and its icons from Cloudflare's CDN. When your browser fetches those files, Google and Cloudflare see the standard data any web request carries, such as your IP address and user agent. We do not control how those services process request data; their own privacy policies apply.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

UK data protection law gives you rights over personal data we hold, which for this site in practice means the contents of any email correspondence with us. You can:

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will act on your request promptly. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how this site handles data, for example by adding analytics or a contact form, we will update this policy before the change goes live and revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Meaningful changes will be stated plainly here rather than made quietly.

How to Contact Us

Questions about this policy, or about anything else on the site, can be sent to [email protected]. If you would like to know more about who we are and how we work, our about page and our how we test page cover both.
