How This Site Is Funded
Best Grounding Sheets UK is funded by affiliate commissions. When you click a product link on this site and go on to buy something from the retailer, that retailer may pay us a small percentage of the sale. The commission comes out of the retailer's marketing budget, never out of your pocket: you pay exactly the same price as you would if you had typed the shop's address into your browser yourself.
Those commissions pay for the hours that go into comparing products, reading the grounding research and keeping every guide current. Who we are and why we started the site is covered on our about page.
The Programmes We Work With
At launch, we participate in or have applied to the affiliate programmes run by four UK earthing specialists:
- Groundology, the Monmouthshire earthing specialist trading since 2010
- Sleep Earthed, which manufactures in Leominster, Herefordshire
- Rowland Earthing, seller of organic earthing sheets and Bahe footwear
- Get Grounded, a UK shop with its own affiliate programme
We say "participate in or have applied to" deliberately: at the time of writing, some of our applications are still being processed, and we would rather be precise than tidy. We may join further programmes over time, and when our list of partners changes we will update this page.
How Affiliate Links Work
Every outbound product link on this site carries a rel="sponsored" attribute. That is the labelling search engines ask affiliate sites to use, and it tells them plainly that the link is commercial. When you click one of these links, the retailer's website records that you arrived from Best Grounding Sheets UK so that any purchase can be attributed to us. The small amount of data involved is described in our privacy policy.
What Commissions Do Not Influence
Commissions never decide what we recommend. Three commitments in particular:
- Rankings, scores and verdicts are independent. A brand cannot buy a place on this site, and a higher commission rate has never moved a product up a list.
- No brand sees our content before publication. Reviews go live without brand sign-off; brands read our verdicts at the same time you do.
- Criticism stays in. Where a brand's own marketing overstates the science, we say so in the review, commission or not.

Advertising Standards
We follow ASA and CAP guidance on affiliate marketing, which asks publishers to make commercial relationships obvious. That is why every article on this site opens with a short disclosure line, and why this page exists at all.
Two further points sit alongside that. Grounding sheets and mats are wellness products, not medical devices, and nothing on this site presents them as a treatment, cure or prevention for any condition. The research behind grounding is early and limited, so our coverage stays hedged, and if you have a health concern the right first step is a conversation with your GP, not a purchase.
