Who We Are

Best Grounding Sheets UK is run by a small independent editorial team based in the UK. We review grounding sheets, earthing mats, pillowcases and related wellness products that are sold with UK plugs and made for UK bed sizes, because much of the advice online is written around American sockets and American mattress sizes and quietly fails British buyers on both counts.

You will not find named authors, headshots or letters after anyone's name here. We would rather publish under one collective byline, the Best Grounding Sheets UK editorial team, than invent credentials to borrow authority we have not earned. What we can offer instead is a transparent method: every recommendation explains what we compared and why, and every claim about the research is cited and worded to match the actual strength of the evidence.

Why This Site Exists

The grounding niche has an overclaiming problem. Products are routinely marketed with language that runs well ahead of the research, and some sellers imply the science is settled when it is anything but. In reality the studies that exist are small pilot trials: the most cited one, a 2004 cortisol pilot, followed just 12 subjects, and several foundational papers share authors with links to grounding product companies. The Cleveland Clinic describes the research as preliminary and limited, and grounding is not an NHS-recommended treatment for any condition.

So we built the site we wanted to read. We compare grounding products on things we can actually verify: build and materials, UK size availability, safety features such as inline resistors in connection leads, care requirements and brand track record. We present the research honestly, including its limits, and health outcomes are never a scoring criterion. If you are new here, our guide to the best grounding sheets in the UK is the heart of the site and the best place to start. And if you have a health concern of any kind, please speak to your GP: nothing we publish is medical advice.

How We Make Money

Affiliate commissions fund the site. When you click through to a retailer from one of our links and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is the whole business model: no sponsored posts, no banner advertising, and no selling of reader data (our privacy policy covers the little data we do handle). Commission plays no part in how products are ranked, and the same disclosure line appears at the top of every page that contains affiliate links. The full detail is on our affiliate disclosure page.

What We Do Not Do

Our Editorial Standards

Every review follows the same written method, documented in full on our how we test page: the criteria we weigh, how scores are reached and why health outcomes are excluded from scoring. Pages carry a visible last updated date, we revisit recommendations when product ranges change, and when we get something wrong we correct it openly rather than quietly.

How to Contact Us

Questions, corrections and feedback all go to [email protected]. We read everything, and corrections are genuinely welcome: being told we have got something wrong, and fixing it, is how a small site earns trust. If you represent a brand, you are welcome to tell us about a product, but please read the section above first. Coverage cannot be bought, and verdicts are not shared in advance.
